Jewell is a true rescue. She was abandoned on a fairly busy road and scared to death of everything around her. It took a long time for her to trust her rescuer and even longer to find peace with her foster mom. Jewell is a beautiful and sweet girl. Like all calico's, she can be a little nutty, but she has a nice temperament and is so beautiful. Her big eyes make you wonder what she's thinking, but she's not a devious cat at all. She will hang out wherever you are and make a nice companion. She becomes terrified around other cats (even nice, quiet ones), but doesn't mind a big and gentle dog. Since she is a long-haired kitty, she needs to be brushed every couple days, or even daily. She loves the attention too. She's a clean cat and only makes messes when she's stressed around other cats. The area around her litter box is rarely messy. She doesn't eat a lot, but she's a little heavier than she should be. She likes to play and would do great with kids that know how to play nice with a cat. If you have other cats, then please don't consider adopting Jewell. However, if you are looking for a peaceful and nice companion that makes you laugh at her crazy antics, then Jewell is for you!
